What are formed plastic letters made of?

Our formed plastic letters are made from durable, UV-stable, and recyclable plastic.

How tall can formed plastic letters be?

Formed plastic letters can be up to 18 inches tall in one single piece.

How small can formed plastic letters be?

These letters can be as small as 4 inches painted, 6 inches pigmented

How thick can formed plastic letters be?

Formed plastic letters range from 1/2 inch to 2.75 inches thick, depending on the size of the letter. The thickness cannot be adjusted.

Can our formed plastic letters be made with a custom font?

Formed plastic letters can be created with custom fonts and vector art. Custom letters can be made-to-order in flat, prismatic, or round face fonts.
We also have a standard selection of fonts if custom fonts are not required.
Other sizes available, but are priced as custom font due to the need to produce a new mold for custom sizes.

What finishes are available for formed plastic letters?

Our formed plastic letters and logos are available in 11 standard pigmented colors for sizes between 6 inches and 36 inches.
Optional custom paint colors on request.
Textured Paint is also available for any available standard or custom color.

FAQ

Can you match colors?

Yes, we match your colors when requested and do a pretty good job most of the time. It is possible your printed color may be a shade off. If a color is critical, you should provide a PMS color (labeled c in a PMS fan deck for coated) and we will do the best we can to match it. Note that matching colors can add time to the production process.
When you view your proof you cannot rely on a screen to give an exact rendition of the color.

Do you charge more for multiple colors?

Under typical conditions, no. You may use any number of colors. All our printing is full color digital, so there is no limit, and no extra charge, for any number of colors in your design. You are free to create anything you can imagine and the price is the same.

If the design requires specialized colors or excessive blending of colors, there may be an additional Designer's Fee to cover collecting the resources you need.

Do you offer design assistance or templates if I don’t have artwork?

Yes! We have a design team that can help create professional, print-ready artwork for your sign. We also offer free templates for many of our products to make designing easy. Let us know what you need, and we’ll guide you through the process.

Depending on the complexity of the artwork or project you may need assistance with, a Designer's Fee may be added.

What if I need to order multiples of the same letters?

For the simplicity of our Production team, you will need to type out every character you want produced. The Quantity is counted per character and does not represent how many repetitions of the characters you want.

How long will these signs last outside?

Depending
on the material, our building letters and numbers will last a long time outside.

Both our Injection Molded building numbers and Flat Cut Acrylic numbers are lifetime guaranteed, as per our warranty. They will need proper cleaning and maintenance, but they’ll stand up against the elements for years!

Our Construction Adhesives are durable, and the length of life depends on what surface it us put on. Not all surfaces are recommended, but with proper cleaning and moderate temperatures, these will be a great addition!

Where can I install formed plastic letters?

Formed plastic letters are for interior or exterior applications. Our paints and pigmented acrylic sheets are UV-resistant, allowing for long-lasting vibrancy.
