Can you match colors?
Yes, we match your colors when requested and do a pretty good job most of the time. It is possible your printed color may be a shade off. If a color is critical, you should provide a PMS color (labeled c in a PMS fan deck for coated) and we will do the best we can to match it. Note that matching colors can add time to the production process. When you view your proof you cannot rely on a screen to give an exact rendition of the color.
Do you charge more for multiple colors?
Under typical conditions, no. You may use any number of colors. All our printing is full color digital, so there is no limit, and no extra charge, for any number of colors in your design. You are free to create anything you can imagine and the price is the same. If the design requires specialized colors or excessive blending of colors, there may be an additional designer's fee to cover collecting the resources you need.
Do you offer design assistance or templates if I don't have artwork?
Yes! We have a design team that can help create professional, print-ready artwork for your sign. We also offer free templates for many of our products to make designing easy. Let us know what you need, and we’ll guide you through the process.
Depending on the complexity of the artwork or project you may need assistance with, a Designer's Fee may be added.
What kinds of files do you accept?
Artwork Format, Sending Files: For production purposes, we utilize Adobe Illustrator (AI), EPS, SVG, and PDF files. If you do not have the file in these formats, we are able to work with PNG and JPEG file types, but print quality can degrade. When sending files, please convert all fonts to outlines/graphics, or send what font was used in your artwork. You are responsible for the quality of the artwork you send and that it is suitable for the intended use. Any blurring or distortion in the art due to the quality of supplied art or lack of additional material will be at your risk. Keep in mind your art may be enlarged to fit the product we are putting it on.
Please note that art files in Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, phone screen captures, email icons, videos, and real life photographs are often unoptimized or unusable. We may attempt to use these if they are the only artwork you supply, but will incur a designer fee.
You can upload art on many of the product pages. You can email artwork to reachus@samedaysign.net when files are less than 9 megs. Use a service, like Dropbox for larger files.
What resolution does my file need to be?
This varies according to the type and size of the product you are ordering. We recommend 300 dpi or higher at actual size for smaller prints and 150 dpi at actual size for general large format prints. If you are uploading a logo or art you can enlarge it (or a portion of it) on your screen to the approximate size it will be printed at to see how is will look.
Are there any file size or dimension limitations for uploads?
For online uploads, we recommend files under 50 MB for faster processing. Larger files can be sent via email (up to 9 MB) or through a file-sharing service like Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer. If you’re unsure, we can guide you on the best way to send your artwork.
Is the information I enter secure?
Our website utilizes a 256-bit SSL certificate. All pages, content, credit card, and transaction information is protected by the same level of security used by banks.
Do you offer local pickup or only shipping?
We offer only shipping to anywhere in the U.S. If you are a local customer, we will happily deliver your signs to any location we agree upon!
How quickly can I get a quote or proof after uploading artwork?
Most quote requests are processed within 1 business day, and proofs are typically sent within 24 hours of receiving your artwork. If your project is time-sensitive, just let us know—we’ll recommend upgrading your order to Rush so that we'll keep your order at the highest priority!
What is the turnaround time?
Banners typically are produced and ship the next working day. We ship them next day air.
Hard backed dry erase products (checks, goal thermometers, etc.) typically are produced in 3-4 working days once approved. We ship them ground.
Single or small order corrugated signs (yard signs and posters), PVC signs and polystyrene signs typically are produced in 3-4 working days once approved. We ship them ground.
Dimensional lettering and numbers jobs typically leave the plant in 7-10 working days and are shipped ground so transit times vary.
Card stock (heavy paper) signs typically are produced and ship the next working day. We ship them next day air.
Metal signs typically are produced in 3-4 working days once approved. We ship them ground.
Decals typically are produced and ship the next working day. We ship them next day air.
Magnetic signs typically are produced and ship the next working day. We ship them next day air.
Please be aware that quantity and time of year will effect delivery times. Most products will have information regarding a minimum quantity if that is required, but feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.
Can I expedite production or delivery, and what rates apply?
Yes! Our Rush option both covers Priority Production and Expedited Shipping, ensuring that your order is quickly completed to your satisfaction and reaches your hands as quickly as possible!
Do note that certain items may ship via different methods depending on size, quantity, and material. Most products are already marked with their relative limitations, but if you are unsure, contact us for more information.
What are your shipping options and carriers?
We utilize FedEx for our shipping needs.
Our Standard Shipping option is overnight shipping and typically fulfilled and delivered within 2-3 business. Please check the product pages for alternate information, and if you are unsure or require the item to be delivered within a specific deadline, contact us for more information. If no information is given, or information is given nearing or during production, the order will ship following our standard guidelines for the requested shipping.
International shipping may be possible on select products—please contact us for a custom quote.
Can I track my order shipment?
Absolutely. Once your order ships, we’ll send you a tracking number via email so you can follow its progress all the way to your door.
Returns?
We are happy to replace products or make corrections when we have made an error or the item comes to you damaged. We cannot replace items after they are used. With few exceptions, our products are made as they are ordered and as most are customized, they are uniquely crafted for you and are approved by you prior to production. We use responsible shipping companies, but Same Day Sign cannot be responsible for lost or delayed items resulting from weather conditions or shipping errors.
If, under special circumstances, a return is authorized by Same Day Sign, it must be in writing. Once you have the written authorization, you can return the product at your expense. The refund will only be completed and payment given to you after the product has been received and processed as returned in unharmed, undamaged, and in full condition. Any damages in shipping that may occur are at the risk of the customer. If you are authorized to return a product, all returns need to be shipped to the following address unless we give specific directions otherwise:

What if my product arrives damaged or incorrect—what’s the correction process?
If your order arrives damaged or doesn’t match your approved proof, contact us within 5 business days of delivery. Please include photos of the issue so we can quickly assess the problem. We’ll arrange for a replacement or other resolution as soon as possible.
What are your standard business hours?
Our production and customer service teams are available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (PST). While our website accepts orders 24/7, calls and emails received outside of business hours will be answered the next business day.
