FAQ

Can you match colors?

Yes, we match your colors when requested and do a pretty good
job most of the time. It is possible your printed color may be a shade
off. If a color is critical, you should provide a PMS color (labeled c
in a PMS fan deck for coated) and we will do the best we can to match
it. Note that matching colors can add time to the production process.
When you view your proof you cannot rely on a screen to give an exact
rendition of the color. 

What is the turnaround time?

Banners typically are produced and ship the next working day. We ship them next day air.

Hard backed dry erase products (checks, goal thermometers, etc.) typically are produced in 3-4 working days once approved. We ship them ground.

Single or small order corrugated signs (yard signs and posters), PVC signs and polystyrene signs typically are produced in 3-4 working days once approved. We ship them ground.

Dimensional lettering and numbers jobs typically leave the plant in 7-10 working days and are shipped ground so transit times vary.

Card stock (heavy paper) signs typically are produced and ship the next working day. We ship them next day air.

Metal signs typically are produced in 3-4 working days once approved. We ship them ground.

Decals typically are produced and ship the next working day. We ship them next day air.

Magnetic signs typically are produced and ship the next working day. We ship them next day air.

Please be aware that quantity and time of year will effect delivery times. Most products will have information regarding a minimum quantity if that is required, but feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

What kinds of files do you accept?

Artwork Format, Sending Files: For production purposes, we utilize Adobe Illustrator (AI), EPS, SVG, and PDF files. If you do not have the file in these formats, we are able to work with PNG and JPEG file types, but print quality can degrade. When sending files, please convert all fonts to outlines/graphics, or send what font was used in your artwork. You are responsible for the quality of the artwork you send and that it is suitable for the intended use. Any blurring or distortion in the art due to the quality of supplied art or lack of additional material will be at your risk. Keep in mind your art may be enlarged to fit the product we are putting it on.

Please note that art files in Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, phone screen captures, email icons, videos, and real life photographs are often unoptimized or unusable. We may attempt to use these if they are the only artwork you supply, but will incur a designer fee.

You can upload art on many of the product pages. You can email artwork to reachus@samedaysign.net when files are less than 9 megs. Use a service, like Dropbox for larger files. 

What resolution does my file need to be?

This varies according to the type and size of the product you are
ordering. We recommend 300 dpi or higher at actual size for smaller
prints and 150 dpi at actual size for general large format prints. If
you are uploading a logo or art you can enlarge it (or a portion of it)
on your screen to the approximate size it will be printed at to see how
is will look.

Returns?

We are happy to replace products or make corrections when we have made an error or the item comes to you damaged. We cannot replace items after they are used. With few exceptions, our products are made as they are ordered and as most are customized, they are uniquely crafted for you and are approved by you prior to production. We use responsible shipping companies, but Same Day Sign cannot be responsible for lost or delayed items resulting from weather conditions or shipping errors.

If, under special circumstances a return is authorized by Same Day Sign, it must be in writing. Once you have the written authorization you can return the product at your expense. Any damages in shipping that may
occur are at the risk of the customer. If you are authorized to return a product, all returns need to be shipped to the following address unless we give specific directions otherwise:

Do you charge more for multiple colors?

Under typical conditions, no. You may use any number of colors. All our printing is full color digital, so there is no limit, and no extra charge, for any number of colors in your design. You are free to create anything you can imagine and the price is the same.

If the design requires specialized colors or excessive blending of colors, there may be an additional designer's fee to cover collecting the resources you need.

Is the information I enter secure?

Our website utilizes a 256-bit SSL certificate. All pages, content,
credit card, and transaction information is protected by the same level of security used by banks.
