Viewing Color Proofs On A Screen

Posted by Curt Thomas on

We attempt to match your colors when requested and do a pretty good job most of the time. When you view our emailed proof you cannot rely on a screen to give an exact rendition of the color. If a color is critical, you should provide a PMS color (labeled c in a PMS fan deck for coated) and we will do the best we can to match it. Note that matching colors can add time to the production process.

This from indyimaging.com:

There are many different manufacturers of panels for monitors. Each one of these panels has its own color space. This will cause proofs to appear different from monitor to monitor. Indy Imaging shows some photographs as a “live” example of what this will look like.
